Okay so I'm playing germany trying to own the world with no allies and for the life of me I cannot win air over the Benelux region. Also, I imagine too large a fleet would not be optimal either. Because air superiority applies on average on the zones a task force was operating you could shield them with planes in a zone they were not even in, which might be somewhere your enemy couldn't even reach and contest.
